Admissions FAQ
We take children from age 2 into Nursery 1. Children that young settle in well here because we give them time to adjust and teachers who are patient with the process. If you're not sure whether your child is the right age for a particular class, just call us and we'll talk it through.
For nursery entry, no — we just do a relaxed, informal observation to see where the child is. For Primary 1 and above, we do a short test in English and Mathematics. It's not meant to be intimidating; it just helps us place your child in the right class and spot anything we need to pay extra attention to.
Yes, if there's space. We accept applications throughout the year. That said, starting at the beginning of a new term makes things easier for the child — they settle in alongside everyone else rather than coming in when work is already underway.
The school day runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The optional Madrasah Programme for Muslim pupils runs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday. For term dates and holiday schedules, please contact the school office directly.
Fee information is shared during your school visit or by request. Call us on +234 806 142 7297 or email fahmidschool@gmail.com and we'll send you a full breakdown of fees and payment options.
Yes. Families with two or more children enrolled receive a sibling discount. Speak to the admissions office when you visit for the current figures.
